The task was to match 6” x 6” cubes made of PVC pipes into specific color combinations in two minutes . In addition to this task , teams were required to present their robot to engineering students. Aliana's team dominated the competition by achieving the highest average score in every match and having the best presentation . This is the first time in seven years that a BMCC STEP Robotics team has won first place.

After a month of daily instruction and late nights , Aliana and her teammates are proud of their win especially because most of them are focused on majoring in Biology.

Aliana and her teammates are excited to continue advancing their competitive robotics skills!
